stop begging please V.S@.
considering all your posts ( yes, 4 of 4 ) are just the same request, please be patient and stop asking the same thing constantly.
the fact that you "need" this to run from a cd isn't a reason for this behaviour. remember this is totally free homebrew, the devers may be looking at this matter someday, can't blame them because they're not fast enough for you, can you ?
You tested the beta 6??? If it is true, please send me the log and the backup to ----> PlatinoX[@]lopezdearenas.com

Having never used PS2link, I'd like to ask someone to please give me a step by step (dummy's ) guide (or point me to 1) as to how to use it with ps2lenschanger. Say, I have a chipped PS2; I load PS2link on the PS2 and inlink on the PC. And then ?
Where i can get the files to replace a lens on V12?
I had them and now lost them
Is there a tutorial somewhere on how to set up/use PS2Link/Inlink?
I have a V7(Duo) here with an R/HD7 lens that is really weird with cd/cd-r. Fine with dvd/dvd-r. Tried another, cleaner R/HD7 lens drive with same results. About 1 in 25 boots it will run cd/cd-r fine, nice and quiet, other times it makes mad noises with them and fails. I want to try re-flashing to R since I suspect the drive may have been swapped out previously...this is the first US V7 I've seen with an R lens and the system seems like it was pieced together.
Having a hard time finding info to configure, run and use PS2Link/Inlink.
Been searching here and ps2dev for a few hours with no solid info.
I want to run directly to an extra 10/100 card in my PC with a crossover cable since my router gets goofy sometimes.
Edit: Gave the cd pot a hefty tweak, in steps, from 1.3k to 1k...getting ~80% boot rate for PS2 cd/cd-r and about 5% boot rate for PSX cd-r with 1 certain media only, 0% for others which do work as PS2 discs. Cog/azimuth adj. doesn't help. Guess that's as good as its gonna get; need to ship it tomorrow so I probably won't get to try my theory that it was swapped from a C...maybe I'll dig 1 up and try it out.
I read all seven pages and am somewhat confused. I have a chipped v7 with DUOSE, it gives me a 66% successful boot rate. I think the laser is to blame. Should I use this app to flash the eeprom and what would that be doing? Please advise, thanks.
You might just simply need your laser cleaned/adjusted. This is most useful for people that have a dead HD7/KHS400R that want to upgrade to the more readily available KHS-400C's. You dont even know what laser you have so I wouldnt worry about it until you have a look or have someone else look.
