PS2Dev Mediaplayer?

Lion has posted an interesting screenshot on ps2dev.org concerning his latest project he is calling the ps2dev mediaplayer. This seems to be an offshot or evolution of his WIP ps2desktop which never saw the light of day. This also seems to show some very interesting features. Hopefully we will see some more progress on this soon.

Looks good, definitely like to see it further developed. Hopefully it wont become another dead end project.

nice too bad there is no in game restart with the controller so that u dont have to get up every time u want to restart the game and load up a new one

I don't doubt Lion's abilities as a programmer, but no proof of concept was ever released with PS2Desktop. I know it CAN be done with the CVS on PS2Dev, but that doesn't show us it WAS done.

Come on Lion, let us see something other than screenies like the source or a binary.

lolol, it looks very nice, i cant wait. i was hoping 4 a cool mediaplayer on PS2, XboX has very nice ones too. on days like this i really am sad that i cant code

i prefer the end of the broom

and i hope this project will develop into more than a screenshot - the ps2 needs a homebrew media player BADLY.
