Umh, do I remember correctly that on PSX you could see the changes in the selected memory location in real time when hacking with Caetla/AR/etc using the Comms-link?

First thing, i'm a cheat developper. please do not affiliate my name with the hacking phenomena, and i will never have a sign that says "please hack codes for food", i'm not to sell but to this company, for which i made a 3 year digression in life shedule, but i'll be more than happy to go back to my country when this is over. About the reputation datel have at hiding stuff & code dev, that was never aimed at underground dev as far as i'm aware, encryption is just a way to prevent people to go from website to website and we didn't begin with that. As for hiding stuff, i'm not allowed to talk about anything i do at work, that's true and that doesn't simplify interactions, it's obvious we won't support 'code hacking' till we release something, if we do.
That said i've always pushed for max/evo supporting raw codes, and getting our trainer out, all the codeboys in fact but you sometimes have to realise that decision are done under a wiser interest.
Ps debug+Datel commlink > ultimate psx software. Ctrl+F1 .Increasing values appearing red, lower in blue, and reimplemented break on read that was out of dos software, added step by step function, notebooks. 1.99 was wicked enough tho. that's so easy to forget niaxniax just made it better cool. we created the coolness of hacking psx for fun to any end up user. i also wonder when interact will be dissociated form us since they were doing nothing but selling out product.
When you imply there is no brain in here, it's just an absurdity to say that, the lead programmer is still of the 1.99 commlink is still here. just people work on loads of things. the guy that did the snes and MCD project too, or the GS pro. bests never moved away. on a personal note, even if i still prefer the commlink, force is to recognise it's the gs pro that made ps code dev so nice and accessible to everybody.
We're aware things are not perfect. on ps2, that evo has a codelist that's far too slow to download/load and the memory card manager has been flickery on early models. the coder that took up max project is working on that, and i've heard latest version has radically improved depacking codelist issues. we've also been working on tools that let you modify partially the codelist on the pc, so it loads finally come back to a respectable pace, i think it's only out in japan atm tho. Also, it seems releasing Evo we did a nice present to the people that wanna run your homebrew stuff on a non chipped friend console, heh. and there is no roundtables about you, jeez.

I was here on a personal note, kinda excited by the news but it seems we'll never be able to hang out without being bashed for any reason possible because it's just cool to do us. We all know that. then i deleted my post as you read it, then i got quoted. i will not say one word that's not on CJ website because it's not my job to make offical annoucement on underground forums, oi. I actually was thinking on the opportunity to post an AR max format code after reading the article that's tight useful for codes that only works on specific lvl/load.
You set a Breapoint by button press, screen flash yellow when it occurs, then you could grab the ram where EPC onto memory card via Evolution 2, or merge both functions with evo 1. that's around 25 ligns, it's fairly easy ASM code but i used it many times. there is also loads of little binary functions which have been useful in the past to find codes which i don't have time to use anymore but i can't give hints, heh. you could even upload that via the mem card, aye.
Since we all blow, it's obvious i won't bother asking tomorrow if we can release that stuff, luckily i have learnt to bother less with the time and came to realise the perfect pointlessness of the situation. Of couse, you gonna add these features eventually, then you gonna put an annoucement which needs an additional line where it says to go on our forums to tell us we suck. and i'm gonna enventually read a waste my time posting.
i heard so many times during the psx times that datel couldn't do blah blah, hence why bps removed from the pro version bla, but , it'd be silly if them upstairs couldn't do it, man, they are tougher than some of you guys might believe. Ice mario, a codeboy, could just do you a PS2 trainer. things i cannot let pass when it comes to bashing capacities. our reverse engeneers are top notch.
So back to the topic..All the work you've done so far, that's great stuff, ingenious, that's sure, basic atm but opens a whole new horizon... i do hope you puch the chob hard a release a perfect kick ass trainer a la ps debug soon. that might beat us towards doing something.

BTW because of the bloc type system, i don't think you could fit the whole ram + extra ram on games like on Rtype on the 32 card i think unless you compress part of it hence 64 megs, and i was worried about erasing FAT table, maybe i'm wrong, once again, i'm kind of dumb, codeboy, heh.
