I got the same problem! when I plug the psjailbreak in my computer it won't recognize it! and the green and red lights keep blinking left/right does someone have a solution for this ?

Not shure if this applies to your chip but i have a atmega32u2 and it was doing the same thing. I had to put it into program mode for the pc to reconize it.

i have the original PSJAILBREAK chip and the software doesn't work (again)...
it returns a xml data error or something like that.
i think they are so nervious to release it before the open-source version comes out.....

I have everythng, The real PSjailbreak, updater v1.2 en download de FLa files(The good ones). I get the error "Device found and opened serial:xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Couldn't open Fla File. I Try it on several computers (WEindows XP,Vista)

So it still didn't work Yet,

I downloaded this version 1.2. This version recognizes my dongle, it shows the serial number, download the files and prog_999999999999.fla and updater_999999999999.fla but to upgrade the dongle, no error occurs, but the dongle does not put my PS3 in factory mode. Probably still bug!

I think there is still a few bugs in that app.

First the config file doens't allow for strings longer than 8192 chars.

maxStringContentLength="8192"

I changed it to maxStringContentLength="81920"

Then the flasher doesn't work it says : Device found and opened serial:xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Couldn't open Fla File

I ran the flashing manually with the app located on the PSUpgrader folder.

In command prompt write : <path>flasher_windows.exe <name and path of your .fla file>

And it did the trick. I haven't tried it yet tough on my Fat 3.5 - More about it later on....

or i need to upgrade first?
