also idk if this is possible but since you can emulate/simulate mirco controllers on pc why dont you try using a psp. So instead of using a jig u use ur psp to simulate the microcontroller since standard usb elements wont work to copy this copy(jailbreaks are just clones of ps3 jigs)
yea i heard they cant get the device to be recognized as its not standrad usb in windows and linux as it doesnt identify itself as a usb storage device i jus thope someone can dump the micro controller itself but that would entale hooking it up to a differnet chipset board that can be identified and hopefully being able to extract the data
Just in case someone wants to check out the file structure of a ripped game with PS Jailbreak...

It looks like that the backup manager just extracted the bluray disc content on a hard drive on the game code specific folder.
if this is done without any encryption on the game or hard drive the pirates will just upload the game on the web from their harddrive.
it will be not hard to find out how to share this.
looks like pirates will attack on PS3 games soon.
EDIT:
oops i forgot about the fat32 4gb filesize limit the backup manager can't just extract the files over 4gb.
the backup manager need to deal with 4gb filesize limit and the only way to do that is split the files into several parts.

Wow the loading speed for GTA 4 was nice! Usually it doesn't load until the picture of the chick leaning in the car.
Has anyone actually tried to load a game from the backup manager without a retail disc in the drive? Wouldn't mind someone reporting what happens with that, cheers
