They are still quoting the 31st on their website, they have an online chat feature in English with the owners though so you could always ask them.

I just spoke to a rep on online chat from discoazul and they said due to a delay with the manufacturer, they would not be shipped till next week sometime. That sucks. I was expecting it friday or saturday with upc

But no more updates since on Gamefreax work on the "sample" dongle.

Remember alot of this "reversing" was done on early sampels shipped to the resellers to prove it work. -- The final "retail" version of the PSJAILBREAK may infact be differ in design or have an update feature, no one really knows the answer to that question yet.

Also a big for being the number #2000 reply in this "half-million-viewed" thread.

hey guys been following this thread since day one and I just preorder my PS Jailbreak yesterday from the hype now kinda regretting it cuz I wanted to wait and see the outcome of this oh well... lol...anyways I got this from http://qj.net from the people that supposely reverse engineered this stating this:

Unless GameFreax has actually seen a dump of the device firmware there could be a USB updater in there like this.

I've just talked to Disco Azul too, and they say 6th of September :S. Funny when I talked to them last they said it will be there on this Wednesday.

Talking to Chipspain now over Skype [no response atm], will keep you informed and post some screens if they respond.

I dunno why you guys intend to use the psjailbreak or clones solution. They are a lot more expensive than buying a simple USB microcontoller kit (which costs $15+) and then putting the exploit code onto it. Plus, you can easily reprogram the microcontroller as well.

Yeah, we can. As soon as the code hits the internets.

I'm waiting for that too, i don't think it's gonna take very long. It's hard to import things like that to Brazil, as taxes are over 120%.
