amazing! I love you all
From KaKaRoToKS twitter:
For now, all versions below or equal to 3.55
For now the tool doesn't support 3.56, but it works and was tested on 3.15, 3.41 and 3.55. I will release more information later: ps3mfw.com
But i suspect we'll see a 3.56 MFW soon![]()
This could be one of the best apps so far ... brilliant![]()
hope this won't brick a lot of PS3s
Saw this on twitter about an hour ago or so.
My guess is it won't be that long before CFW's are working over to 3.56 too.
If anyone wants to keep a track on a few people on twitter, here are some of their twitter pages:
a) http://twitter.com/mathieulh
b) http://twitter.com/marcan42
c) http://twitter.com/hackinblack
d) http://twitter.com/KaKaRoToKS
e) http://twitter.com/fail0verflow
There are of course. a lot more. But these are the 5 I recommend people to watch.
Also, not a bad idea to go to the following channels on EFNet IRC (irc.efnet.org):
a) #ps3dev
b) #ps3test
c) #ps3lv2
#ps3dev is where a lot of the posers and also mainstream hackers will float around, #ps3test is where all the non-developers talk about what is going on in the moderated #ps3dev channel (you can't send messages in #ps3dev unless of course you are allowed to), #ps3lv2 is where all the deep hacking goes on, you have no need to be there unless you have a general reason for wanting to learn to hack or assist in cracking lv2 wide open.
Anyways, they are my tips for the day ^^
Thank fook, not long now until any OFW will be rape-able. Keep up the gud work
Wow, new amazing way to brick your PS3 in a previously unseen way, do it using your own, unique CFW, FANTASTIC!
ROFLMAO. What an attention wh0re...There are several contributors, some of whom are well-known within the PS3 homebrew community but wish to remain anonymous. However, we were told that KaKaRoTo is playing an important role in the project.
As if any of current CFWs came from these guys, eh? Oh, I recall KKRT createad one, completely useless (as it only allowed to install Sony signed pkg files, and WE DON'T HAVE BLOODY PRIVATE KEY FOR IT), but quite noisy one.
fail0verflow guys are amazing (marcan42 being one of them), but they are done with it, sort of.
The "anti pirate" Mathieulh, who is obviously using pirated IDA isn't known to be community friendly either, is he? Keeping "how to convert retail to debug" console for himself.
Hermes / Wanikoko are the guys who'd release new CFW, but I wonder, if it is actually needed.
oh nice good progress
