help please. –
Could someone please give me some help with this? i cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. I keep getting the red error screen. I'm not exactly certain what I need to do. I'm using the github psgroove copy with Kakaroto's PL3.
I copy default_payload.S, memory_patching.h.S, and index.dat.S to the PL3 directory. What do I do with the port1_config_descriptor.bin? I downloaded the version_ecosystem201 file that has the version_str: #include "index.dat.S".
I tried replacing default_payload_3_41.bin with the port1_config_descriptor.bin file but make errored out about the default_payload being too big so I changed the make file to allow a bigger default_payload_3_41.bin and got it compile but I get a red error screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Edit: Never mind, I figured it out. For anyone who has the same problem, psgroove uses the dev_payload by default. In the psgroove directory, edit the descriptor.h file and change the #define PAYLOAD dev_payload to #define PAYLOAD default_payload

Reason: Figured it out
Obviously. A soft-reset is done and that erases the jailbreak. We'll never be able to downgrade with this method.

Tryed similar around a month with grabbing the .pup's dl link via proxy and replacing it with my .pup file.
Only re-install of 3.41 worked but stopped when using 3.15.
Could you try to edit this to 3.55, and the compile so we can test it with PSN proxy?
