Playstation Phone On The Way!

Sony PSPhone rumors are back yet again, this time being reported by the WSJ (normally they are not wrong), that Sony is ready to battle Apple, and is planning on releasing products likes a "Playstation Phone", and also a "netbook" to go against the iPAD and iPHONE.

All those PSP-GO users are gonna be real happy they will have to buy yet another PSP, again, if they want one of these:crazy:

Sony seems to be taking a page out of the Apple playbook.

i don't know if sony can take another huge revenue hit as it did with the PS3 and especially the way the PSP-GO sales are doing right now (not too good).

anyone can easily assume that the PSPhone will be ridiculously expensive ($500) during launch day and only a few will have it. besides there probably won't be too many games at PSN for download (i doubt that the PSPhone will swallow UMD discs).

btw, i can see sony getting mad cash whenever it joins forces with Imax to roll out a 3D tv network and 3D LCD tvs.

i feel this will be a second iphone, only worse.

that's because sony is even more control-crazy than apple. they won't let just anybody write apps/games for it and be more restrictive about it.

Didn't Sony learn anything from their venture into cell phones?

i've had a philips cellphone once. i regret every second of it.

I mean really...
I have had nothing but issues with my Sony Vaio lappy..

As long as Sony does not make there own OS (as they had with there media PC software) Im staying away from all things handheld from Sony..
Dont get me wrong I love my PSP (2000) however it sucked until once modded...

I sure hope Sony knows what there doing as they would just be better off putting more development money into making the PS3 more enjoyable.. Then wasting there time on phones or even a NetBook..
