Play Online Games via HDL

After much debate, I have decided to post this bit of news. It seems someone has found a way for users to play their onilne games from HDLoader.

Hackchip of PSX-Station has contacted us with proof of this happening with a hacked version of SMAP.IRX so that it does not try to reinitialize DEV9. In addition to it, you do need to do the DNAS patches to enable online play.

I will remind users that posting of any DNAS related topics, tools, information as well as the SMAP.IRX is off-limits due to the SMAP.IRX resembling a modified legitimate version from a game. He has released it under GPL, however, until it has been proved otherwise, the SMAP.IRX will remain off this site. I have been contacted by him in response to my claims, however, I am waiting for physical proof of it otherwise.

I gave this method a try with NFSU, and online didn't work. I've got a few other games I can give a shot at, but so far no go.

I think it says that not all games work and he isn't going to provide a list.. in the Tutorial there is a mention of Fifa 2005. Maybe that game works?

Maybe the SMAP.IRX file posted by hackchip only works with pal games.. don't you think?

According to him its universal. And on their forums it says that games with DNAS 271 or above won't work. Which rules out a majority of games.
