PL3 Updated – MOH Now Running Without Need of Game Updates

I dont think that I am following this thread very well.
I am using my iphone 3g with PL3 from IPhoneLinux - PSFreedom Wiki, the one that says:
"# Last updated Oct. 23 1418 EDT (v.6 - 3g, v.7 1g) - new start script for easier timing
# New PL3 payload should enable MOH and other 3.42 games"
and Gaia Manager v1.03
Nothing I have tried allows the game to run.
With this set up am I able to run MOH?
If so what do I need to do?

I have tried to read through the thread and am apparently missing something.
Please help!!!

Quick question for you, what version of avr-gcc do you use to build the hex for Minimus 32 (atmega32u2) as this currently fails for me on the latest AVR Crosspack...

Backup Manager - Open Gaia manager 1.03.1
Name in Gaia - Medal of Honor / Bonus Content

I did as Yngwiedis said but when i click on the disk icon it will only let me install/play the frontline (bonus Content Part) how do i get it to run the main Game. But when i clicK "*/app_home/PS3_Game" it comes up with "You cannot play this game at the current video output setting (80028F10)" I have a pal ps3 & HD TV with HDMI Cable and running at 1080i

OK here is the "standard" procedure that works for me 100%.
(I already try it 5 times and is working every time)

1. Delete all Game Data of MOH (if you have any).
2. Transfer the game with FTP to the folder you have your games.
3. Install 1.01 update with a plain USB stick from Install Packages.
4. Install fixpermissions.pkg with a plain USB stick from Install Packages (you need to edit the source to make it fix the folder you are using).
5. Run fixpermissions.pkg and wait until you get back to XMB.
6. Open Gaia manager 1.02 and i press L1 for Mem Patch ON or OpenBM 1.17.2 and press R2 for Patched Mode (i haven't test it with any other Manager).
7. Press X to select MOH and wait to go back to XMB.
8. Press X on the Disc icon and play.

Same procedure is working for both EUR version BLES00860 and USA version BLUS30436 of the game.

P.S. The game is NOT working for me with Patched Mode OFF.

moh working with hermes v4b and Gaia Manager 1.0.2

1. delete file install.pkg from BLUS30436\PS3_GAME\PKGDIR\PKG00

2. Copy the game to the external hdd

3. use Gaia Manager 1.0.2 to Load the game with a disc inside

4. installed the game update 1.01

5. Let it install the game data as usual

I know there are many ways to get it working. I tried several and couldn't get it to work until I came across a post that said you have to update two SFO files in the game install directories...one in the USDIR and another in the PKG directory. Gaia 1.03.1 (w/ Mem Patch ON) automatically updated the one in the USDIR to 3.41, but didn't fix the other one in the PKG directory. After I edited that one, everything worked fine. I didn't come up with this, but thought I'd share since it worked for me.

Also, there is no need to delete the game update folder or mess with the eboot file. You can install the game updates with no problems. I was playing with a disc in the system....couldn't get direct boot to work.

Thanks to JonahUK for his help and patience, so i can play this game.

n00b question here, how do I edit the file to edit the folder? (using GAIA 1.03.1) I've done everything else.

Also do I need to ftp it from GAMEZ to games? or is it fine in the default gaia folder?

btw im using the Minimus v1 USB, and the latest pl3 patch, if that information makes any difference.

EDIT: got it to install game data, had to move it to my external hard drive.

Just write the Game ID.
