So Gaia manager will split those files atomatically then? cheers, will try that, better option than opensplit.

Gaia, AVCHDMan, and the newest version of Open Manager (2.1+) all have that option, I believe.

You can actually just delete the PKGDIR or whatever its called as its just an optional folder for extra content to be installed via XMB.

Sounds more logical, extra content is more likely rubbish anyhow.

With asbestos loader released as Hermes's package followed by yet another shot of drama from KKRT, it will hit PL3 in the first place, again.

I wish somebody wiser than KKRT, with good manners, would take over this project and turn it away from "vs Hermes" course into something more constructive.
Your right, there does need to be a standard. But right now with this so called "open source" of everything, that isn't really "open source", its hard to find any form of happy medium.

You have users bitching and moaning about :
    a) theres too many payloads, and b) my game doesn't work.
Expect many more payloads, and versions, until we do find common ground.

Please don't put this in a Kakaroto vs Hermes situation again, I don't understand why this has to be brought up every thread. Its getting stupid. Respect for all developers, who of which we would not be here today had it not been for them.

    #1251688 - Pastie

Read here for the last chat I had with Kakaroto, he explains all the recent changes, what Hermes was doing, and why things are behaving the way they are. Also, how hes going to attempt to fix it.

    1. Has the permissions issue in the dev branch been fixed? I want to use hdd0/gamez so I need the dev payload, correct?

    2. Which source do I need to download to build the dev payload from the pl3 git? I have compiled from the master source with evilsperms vm, but I get only one hex and I'm not sure which branch it is. Am I missing something on the site that specifies which source I'm using?

When I had hermes v4b, Medal of Honor stuck on install.
When I had the version before of pl3, I couldn't even get to the install screen and got the 80010514 error.
When I switched to pl3 no_auth, I got the error again.
Then i used hobbit's fixpermissions, following the proper directions. Use hermes v4b to install the program, run it, change to pl3no_auth again.
I re-ripped the game between each payload change.
I still get the 80010514 error.

At this point, im waiting for the payloads to fix this error for me but if anyone has suggestions, Im open for advice or help.
