I'm astounded at the behaviour of some of you. Trolling, flaming, insults, whining about posts ... what the hell guys? In this particular instance; How is Orb ANY different from any of the myriad Jailbreak devices you all had to BUY? I don't recall seeing anyone pissing and moaning, attacking the site and the owners just because they posted about a PS3 product that required purchasing. Everything must be free for you guys, right?

I'm starting to think there's more pirates on here than on NGU and ISO combined. If you can't be given it for free, or if you can't steal it, suddenly the teeth and the claws come out. It's been TWO DAYS, for crying out loud, two days since new owners took over and what has changed? NOT A GOD DAMNED THING. Nothing!! NOTHING has changed! Maybe things will in the future, maybe not, but for now? NOTHING. Yet some of you can't keep a civil tongue in your head before attacking and belittling the site as if it's suddenly being ran by Sony themselves. There are less adverts on here at the moment, yet some of you are decrying the site as some advertising portal for selling products like Orb. Are you friggin' KIDDING ME?! Nobody pissed and moaned about Cobra being announced and advertised ... why? because it lets you steal games?

I like how you play it off as a "NO THIS ISN'T VIRAL IT WAS SUBMITTED". People are not that stupid. This is not homebrew and it is a service (that has been done before) that costs money.

Why doesn't the front page get updated with every new game/service that comes out on psn? is it because you haven't asked them to pay you for it yet?

This is old. Orb has worked for years for ps3. I used it back before CFW even existed.

If you read the goodbye thread, you can see it got wildly off topic. It should have been about how wonderful the site was under Xianiax and Gary and appreciation for all time and work they have put into this community. Maybe even some concern for Xianiax's situation but instead insults. Do you not want this place to be a "community"?

Also, in general, in the last few months, there have been alot of off topic slams of everything under the sun and in some cases inappropriately nasty in tone. I am only suprised at the comments that were not deleted.

Members do have the option to post their own topics instead of gumming up other threads which is even out of hand in the tech threads. As I stated before there are no, zero, none attempts to offer helpful suggestions or alternatives in the Site Issues/Suggestions section for the new owners. Why can't people at least state their issues/complaints in a cogent manner like Mr. GoodFrag.

Besides from what I hear you can't even use this if your ps3 is hacked.

Anyway, maybe this news doesn't excite me so much, but so what? This is good news for everyone without cfw that can use it, because competition is good for any market, it's what drives innovation. Hopefully this service will offer something new that can later be assimilated into PS3 Media Server or Showtime.

At least someone finally understands. Instead of using the correct section and place (http://psx-scene.com/forums/site-issues-suggestions/ ) people have just been shitting up all the other threads. It's ridiculous.. and even worse to suddenly turn round now and blame the problems on the new admins.

If you have a complaint about anything, do it in the right place, but you won't.. because you, like others, are just pissing in the faces of the site owners for no good reason. You've already stated you're going to pirate this, which only serves to confirm my statement; if it's not given you for free, you'll just steal it. If you want to complain about someone, complain to the person who posted the USER NEWS article in the first place .. because it sure wasn't me, or any of the admins either.

Absolutely pathetic.


Any more posts that are not directly about Orb or it's functionality (yes, discussing alternatives is - in my opinion - viable) will be deleted as off-topic spam. Any more declarations of "I'll just pirate this, lololol" will be met with reprisals as per site rules. Rules that were set in place by the founders themselves and enforced by myself and the rest of the mod team. Is that clear?

If you or anyone else has issues with the site, the way it's run, the news that you disagree with .. then feel free to use the "Site Issues and Suggestions" section. It's there for a reason and nobody is going to deny your voiced concerns, as long as you make them RATIONALLY. Check your attitude, be rational and respectful, and your issues and concerns will be taken seriously. If you start slagging off the staff or the site, inciting flamewars or deliberately trolling, then don't even bother. Better yet, just don't bother posting at all. There's been an atmosphere here long before the new admins took over .. so if you're not happy, you know what to do.
