Um... the current method makes the PS3 decrypt things... we don't have the algorithm or key or w/e is necessary to decrypt files on the PC. That's why we have the PS3 do it for us. Now we might get an easy app that will bind the decrypted data automatically back into it's original form on the PS3.

Automatic encrypting and crypting files doesn't help at all.
If you want to fix blackscreen games you will probably need the encrypted file, find the error, patch it, crypt it back.
It's not automatic encrypting... when you decrypt a file right now it's split into 2 files, .o format I think... that's what this thread is about. He was saying he wanted an app that, after decrypting it, automatically forms it back into an elf/prx/pkg w/e it is. You can't patch an encrypted file, you can patch a decrypted file then re-encrypt it however.

i doubt the sections are compressed..or can anyone confirm?
if section was compressed - better to recompress it then messing with headers.

Ya know, it took me a couple of days to realize how I knew the name netkas. You're the one that made the EFI loader for hackintosh's, aren't you? Anyway, if you are, glad to see you in the PS3 scene, and good luck to you and your endevors. Can't wait to see what you come up with. Good job, and good luck

Nice work netkas.
Is it possible to patch Disc Game eboot.bin to Harddisk Game? Maybe that will fix some of the black screen games, even if not it could help with installing games to HDD to boot direct from XMB.
