But could be an issue for Prince of Persia because PoP has 3d support and fw 3.50 too...
so, you just said again what i said? :chinscrat
Yep, i'm having the same thoughts.
p.s. isolated modules decrypted by metldr, which sony cant update (metldr decrypted by cell crypt engine), so i was probably wrong about "new" keys.
but since isolated module is isolated, it can do whatever he want to, and probably check console firmware.
What they maybe COULD do, are checks for flags inside the syscon, but it's only a matter of time until we know to read / write to it ;)
So yeah...by the speed the scene is moving thanks to graf_chokolo, I'm pretty confident we have a future proof solution here.
P.S.: Even if all hope gets lost with the Jailbreak solution, we can always go back to 3.15 where we have a lv1 exploit already available and because of that we have full control over the system ... so we are always the ones who are winning in the end.
Well this is only a solution, if we could restore OtherOS on Slims and managed to run games on 3.15 -because 95% of all users like to use their ps3 sometimes for her main purpose ;)
lol, we cannot even change anythink in SPU module, iam even talking about other crypted executables with digital signature.
yes, there is guy that have access to almost everything (ALMOST), but there is still some memory that is hardware isolated and technically cannot read (its designed for that by IBM). and we cant edit alot of software (mostly everying) because we cannot sign applications.
