I still cant get AC working off of my external. :\ I was so excited too!

EDIT: NVM I got it I had to try it a few times though first.

The limit of file size on FAT32 is 4GB-1byte. GTAIV works on external USB. Remember the game can be bigger than 4GB but no Single File can be greater than 4GB in size.

Thanks tht was helpful...so I assume that the game that is all together 10GB has many single files that are smaller than 4GB limit...that makes sense. thnx dude

MAKE SURE YOU ARE USING ABSOLUTE "NON-MODIFIED" GAME FILE'S (EBOOTS)

That sounds too advanced for a obvious noob like me...im guessing EBOOTS are like ISO's? lol...im still amazed at the fact tht I jailbreaked my ps3 with only two files and within 15 - 20 minutes...and I did all that from watching a single youtube video...lol

I dont know jack about hacking and stuff.

Most MW2 games out are moddified - thats mostly your problem - it works!

If your backing up your own games, like you should be, with the original disk, you will never have to worry about moddified files.

i read everything..closely and the blackscreen trick is for external and i dont have external lol im trying whit int FAIL!!!

Oh yes I will never use web to download games...thats like inviting viruses!....So far I hv backed up two games on my own...Bad Company 2 and Black OPS...I own both of them...they are working fine. I have GTAIV too and it is in the PS3...but i have no more space to make a backup...hence i asked the question...well looks like only thing i have to do now is get a good external HDD...any good ones ?

Seagate 1tb 2.5" USB 3.0 walmart - $100-120 Make sure you format FAT32 @ this time. Or install the biggest internal 2.5" drive you can - think it's around 700GB cause of the 9mm size issue of the PS3 drive bay
