About LinkBacksThe Actel blanks (ProAsic) are being programmed now and product will start shipping on Tuesday 30-Sep-03. Pre-paid orders will be supplied first. The second batch is expected to be in production towards the latter part of w/c 29-Sep. Thereafter things should settle down to near normal production.
As the picture shows, this is a different PCB from the 'normal' product, to which Messiah 2 will revert once blanks are available.
The product will be c. $2 more expensive whilst the ProAsic has to be used.
On v9 consoles, the Messiah 2 RST point should be connected to the PS2 EJECT point.

ofcourse, it's messiah 2, it'll work on all ps2s, but the v9 was just added for more support.

This is a bog standard Messiah 2 that is v1 through v9 compatible. It is given the handle v1.31c because of the pcb and Actel ProAsic chip.
This form factor is likely to be the basis of a new Messiah 2 product (the clue is in the picture) that is currently in development.
Regarding HDD support, a v1.32 is in development.
