The few less wires arent enough to get me to pay for the extra cost. Id rather stay with the 1.33b.
The only thing that would get me to switch would be more features. Soldering is too easy, to make less wires a selling point. Its the direct booting that I like, just putting the game in a going is a great feature. Not all this tapping or pressing buttons to load this or that.
I dont play any movies on my PS2 or XBox, they are for my gaming enjoyment. I have a DVD player and a PC for movies.
Reguardless, its always good to see another chip come out for the PS2. I'd like to see some HDD support from the messiah chips, or other features to compete with the more expensive chips that doesnt need bios updates as it should be bug free and programmed to do what it says it should from the start.
