Maximus has released a neat little APP, a PC program that allows someone to easy and quickly convert Any Previously Pre-Complied ATMEL .hex into a flashable binary file for their PIC18F devices.

Porting the .hexes from the daily new and updated payloads is taking me more time than I expected, and since you deserve a faster port of the payloads to the PIC18F devices I decided to invest some time in a new HID Loader 2.0 with a new "ANY HEX IMPORT" feature!

Basically with this you never have to wait for me to port the payloads to the MAXAVRUSB v1.2 32KB or to the PIC18FUSB devices.

Just do the Import of the .hex from any ATMEL device (Teensy suggested),
And this new wonderful PC application will convert it to the PIC format!

I have tested with kakaroto, psn yes, hermes, etc.

Consider this new feature as BETA still!

UPDATE: Added the fixed version, that corrected some bugs!

Finally!! This is good news indeed.

Works perfectly. I used a minimus v1 hermes 3.50 spoofing payload, ran it thru the converter and it worked 1st time. Even has LED support

    I'm impressed !

tested and working with the p3free dongles! those users will be happy, except for the LED output isnt working for that board. but the program works none the less for any pic18f device that uses usbhid bootloader.

What bootloader does it convert into? HID I presume? That would be a bit pity, because I have PICDEM... Can't have it all I guess, and iLLNESS, you'll still be needed... :P

i left a post on their blog.

hopefully they will be nice and release the source so it can be converted to work with PICDEM (atleast converting it, writing it will be different)

so, yeah, release source, it can be ported to convert the teensy hexes into a picdem hex which could be written with the picdem software.
