Matrix Infinity Firmware 1.5 Released!

The matrix team has been on a hot streak lately! direct quote from their website.

Released today V1.5 Firmware for the Infinity Modchip.
You can Download it from HERE.

New Features and additions:

- DEV2 mode
- Option menu cosmetic changes

Notes :
- DEV2 mode has been implemented.
Pressing L1 on boot will launch an application directly from the HDD.
To install applications to be used as DEV2 mode, you will need to use a special Dev2Install program that
is available HERE .
This program enables you to install any PS2 executable on your HDD and lauch it as the default DEV2 program.
This will let you play with DEV2 mode until the new HDD enabled Infinity Manager will be released.

- Option menu color scheme was changed to offer better readability on some tv sets.

It just keeps getting better. I cant wait untill the dev.2 is finished... and to see what suprises the crystal chip has up their sleeve.

Just I wonder I have ps20s.elf v0.3 renamed boot elf and burned to cd with DEV2I.ELF.
Then I install to HD apps my little patched hdadvance.elf and mediaplayer.elf when I choose its from hd I have only black screen.I made any mistake or I cannot open hdadvance and mediaplayer from hd with ps2os.elf?

Does the DEV2 installer create it's own partition to store the installed files?
And if yes, what's the name of the partition? If i can create it myself i could
maybe avoid burning CDs and copy the stuff i want manualy.

I must say, i'm very impressed with the Matrix team as of late....got this chip installed in november purely for the auto detect features, but i've had problems with certain dvd movies, and doing ANYTHING with homebrews was just a lesson in masochism.....now, only 1 or 2 dvds are still having any real problems, and with this fix most of my homebrews should be easier to install...maybe i can even go full on to suggest that i might not need to burn another homebrew/exploit disc again when this batch of upgrading is done?

now if only i could play the SNES games with that emulator, and upgrade firmware without using a new cd every time....
