They will not talk directly to anyone who wants wholesale if they already have a reseller in that area - i.e. you would have to deal with the official re-seller. Which means add extra dollars...
If there is not one in the area then you could apply but you need
to buy in lots of 1000 to qualify - and at around the price of the messiah2 and the DMS that can be a big ask from most of us littluns!
I am interested but will wait to see an idependent review and the uptake of the chip on places like this - i.e. the demand - before considering such a huge investment... but waiting can also mean missing the boat...
would hate to get stuck with 1000 duds
reminds me of the good old SBOX days... any one want 35 of the buggers! - god I hate getting stuck with chips no one wants anymore! 
Oh and fat mike - with all those features on board, I couldn't care much about flash-ability.
And never personally ever had a customer request a chip with dev mode so...

It mention support for the PAL model. not NTSC. Is the page not updated or the chip only works for a PAL model only...
How much is it going to be...hope that it must be cheaper than M2

11-13-2003,10:20 PMa little cheaper maybe but not much - but prices have not been finalised yet for the chip so we will all have to just wait!
But then again you are comparing a chip that does most of what the DMS does for just less than the Messiah2 - that I think is a good deal!
Especially with the cool new boot that auto detects the mode and the 18 to 19 wires - when that is taken into account they are way, way ahead!
