digdug thats a 100% oreginal Matrix Infinity.
sweet...thanks...can i ask how you can tell
The oreginals use Actel proasic chips, the fakes are normally sanded down and names like Matrix Infinity se,modbo ect are written on the pcb or the chip, board layout and other things are also different with clones.
Digdug did I do that mod for you?

I cannot downgrade, I think... Where do I get previous firmware versions? I have the chip for one week....
Thanks for the help.
API003 you can downgrade to infinity's V1.4B firmware available on the matrix site, or any of their other previous firmwares prior to V1.4B.
I think the matrix team should have developed a warning for a detected clone before flashing, or a mod-fake detector program, because half of the people who flashed them with their new firmware ended up with a dead chip didn't even know they had a modbo or SE. I guess its easy enough to check but a program would still be a lot easier. I mean the firmware has to know if its a fake or not or it would boot, so why can't it display a warning like "clone/unofficial infinity detected, proceed with caution." before flashing, or "genuine Matrix Infinity detected, proceed with upgrade"
My chip is oringinal.
I´ve downgraded already, but I still have the same problem. This is not related to my TV, cos I play Bournout 3 in 60Hz with no problems...
I installed 1.4, should I try 1.39??
Thanks for the support!
Greetz from Spain! :-)
Well, i have HD loader, and i just boot my apps from there, u can easily send ur apps to ur HDD with hdl dump or faplink. And with MI chip, I only have to hold R1 during boot to launch HD loader.

I've replaced Inf Manager with LaunchELF. Just rename BOOT.ELF to MANAGER.ELF and put it into MATRIXTEAM folder in my mem card. I've set it to boot with INFMAN.
