this is music to my ears :P , damn why i have the feeling it won't be long when some1
is gonna get a CFW ... not necessarily a fully functional one, but somehow im pretty sure its gonna happen xD

Okay it´s good that we can decrypt encrypt and resign the files the ps2 emu binaries yeah but all other files in the lv2 is useless and a cfw would not came out because it´s useless.

Because it can not decrypt encrypt and resign the lv2 from 3.41 and above

Okay it´d will let run Linux on the slim with fw below 3.40

He just released 3.41+ keys now

oh good the 3.41+ keys are very usefull.

Then CFW is very near because we had now access to the pkg in the update pup and we can resign the files when we modified them

Bah, he just informed me that it only works on 3.40 3.41 and 3.42. He tested on higher fw but no go.

I'm looking forward to ps2 playback on non bc consoles, I hate having to fire up the gf's pink ps2 to play time crisis 2 and 3

Would it be possible to downgrade/use older loaders in a modified 3.55+ update file?

I remember fail0verflow saying that new loader keys were somewhat pointless since you could just downgrade the loaders.
