An anonymous source has released Make Package Npdrm Patcher (revision 1732).

- This tool remove the security checks in make_package_npdrm.exe (revision 1732).

- It does not contain any SCE tool/code.
- It's only working with 3.41 bins.

- Open the "make_package_npdrm.exe" from 3.41 SDK.
- Click on "Patch"
- Two patched versions are made in same folder than your original exe.
- One make debug package for debugging console.
- One make debug package for retail console.

- In "Configuration" you have to select tools from 3.41 SDK.

- The default ContentID and klicensee can be changed.
- Drag and drop function works on most of box.
- Find by yourself :P.

what's there to face palm about? it contains no code or sources from Sony, there for there's nothing illegal about it, so the responsibility falls to the end user to not do anything illegal with it, not the Developer.

And if you really wanted to argue then the Dongles fall into the same boat, since they patched 3.41 to allow unsigned code, and most don't have the right to have the OFW source.
