Even if it's linux, I wouldn't get your hopes up. We're so far off custom FW that you may as well forget about it.

Actually how far are we?
If GameOS is lvl2 and entire lvl2 memory is peek/pokeable, even if flashing it isn't possible, starting "alternative GameOS" saved out there somewhere on USB/hard drive is already possible, or am I missing something? (8Mb size of whatever was dumped is a bit confusing though)
