Yes thats what I was going to say, but in the end it becomes kinda confusing but anyways they do say...

"Something important to note that Playstation 2 hdd-enabled games use the same APA partion system which libHdd supports, so both hdd-enabled games and homebrew software can access the hdd without conflicts. However, libHdd cannot be used to access partitions/filesystems created by these games."

I didn't understand the part after "however"

In the pdf, its written "Development of parts of libHdd (specifically, the utility library, APA driver and PFS driver) was sponsored by DMS Technologies, the makers of the excellent DMS3 PS2 modchip." Now thats COOL....

Also, will it work with backup copies of those "PS2 hdd-enabled games"

and also do we need to install the PSBBN I think that is required to "install" those "PS2 hdd-enabled games"

If PSBBN is not required, then it would be GOOD as PSBBN kills the modchip

libHdd is a development library for use in homebrew PS2 software. It will not do anything special by itself, but it will allow developers to add support for the PS2 HDD into their applications. Examples of possible uses for libHdd are enabling emulators to load roms from the HDD, and media players to load movies, music from the HDD. Currently there is no homebrew software released which utilises the PS2 HDD, but I will personally be making a few releases of HDD enabled software over the next few weeks. Unfortunately, I cant give away any more details at this stage. Stay tuned for details.
