I read a powerful analogy the other day on a thread dedicated to this subject: "It's like chickens arguing for the rights of the slaughterhouse". Sums it up real well.

add to that they couldn't do motion sensing (which didn't make it to many games) along with rumble - but Nintendo did it in their lollipop. Then a year later they offer dualshock3 controllers with no initiative to re-imburse those who had sixaxis devices. More game updates for rumble support.

They also couldn't figure out how to get in-game XMB for the better part of 2 years. Just last year updates finally started being released in patches rather than full downloads, saving on average 100MB per update.

Don't get me started with halfing the USB, removing the card readers, removing OtherOS, trophies (everyone else has em!), and the *best* feature is powering on and having no video, spending a half hour digging through the manual troubleshooting to find out you have to hold the power button on boot until 1 beep is heard so it can detect what output is used?! really? Only system in history to have this issue. But what do you expect I guess, even the most rudimentary security systems can generate real random numbers.
