now that i think about it, i feel like split screen offline modes in games have been neglected, so more and more people go online to play multiplayer. so the fear of hacking and being banned is greater

Yea, whatever happened to having friends over and playing with them in splitscreen mode? I recently realized this when a friend was over and there was no game we could just play together on the couch on my PS3...

Yeah and even if they are split screen, they make it so both screens are re sized into a small cube, seriously wtf is up with that ? The ps3 can't support two different screens with dynamic environments ? It should...... We are so talking offtopic here lol.

He is fighting for our right to use our PS3 as we see fit. Who cares if he gets famous or not. He is doing a lot more then others our doing on here but people like to bitch about it.

I'm also fighting for the rights to our privacy when using the PS3 and IU'm getting the same thing people bitching at me but I can careless as I'm trying to do something and make others aware of what sony is doing and not just in our scene but all PS3 users.

MasterCrucifer, I get it, this interveiw was actually better, but if you notice, he only mentioned the real deep issue once or twice, the rest was talk about his history, his court case, and yeah, the lady did Mention how Sony is trying to control "the information" and the "code", who is going to understand that, they don't know the context ? He should of REALLY pressed the issue loud and clearly, even if he had to excuse the Lady to talk about it.

yeah definitely off topic but it just hit me while watching the interview... all my friends have a ps3 and broadband but we never ever play any game online we always go over each others homes and play but the lack of split screen in 98% of games leaves playing a few games over and over again.. and now with sony's propaganda and fear mongering, offline split screen multiplayer games with become obsolete and that leaves only sport games

I have to agree. I've never liked this kids attitude, he really needs to grow up. I support freedom to do what we please with our devices. However this kid is just a media wh0re, and he did this same shtick with the iphone, and appears to me to be making a mockery of this.

With these interviews he's doing, that rap video, he's really pissing Sony off further, and you watch they won't stand for it. I will not be surprised one bit if Sony wins a huge judgment against him civilly.

I wish there were more people that would stand up to Sony. They take way the Other OS and all people do is bitch about it on here and other forums.

I for one called and argued with Sony and also filed a BBB report about it and contacted the lawyers that had started class action suits and setup a site.

Not because of him,Sony could fix this but they didnt,dont tell me that Sony doesnt have enough engineers to outsmart Geohot a single hacker,they just cut it away,they were afraid of piracy,they removed OtheOS and look what we got here Sony raiding house of they guy who wants his payed feature back,and piracy is on console anyway,if you ask me whoever decided to remove OtherOS is a retard.
