so in like 2 days i am be able to jailbreak my ps3 3.55 with an cfw and play back ups i need help?

No one knows the answer to these questions, you will need to be patient like the rest of us and wait for a release. CFW for 3.41 is very near i assume, i'm not sure how the 3.50 + stuff is coming along though. Its uncharted territory so there is no point asking the same questions every day.

chill lets make it 3.15 custom firmware I like linux ;-) unless I can run linux on 3.41 then yea sure I'll update but until linux is on a higher firmware I will be staying right here on 3.15 !

Haha well im pretty sure they are close to getting otherOS ported back to all firmwares, but that seems to be on back burner at the moment due to recent developments elsewhere.

This isnt working for me. i did everything it said, i downloaded the official firmware, then ran ./create_cfw.sh it went all the way through and i put it in PS3 > UPDATE > and named it PS3UPDAT.PUP. So then i go to put in my ps3 and i put it in and go to system update it says No applicable data found. And i even tried it in the recovery XMB. I read somwhere that is also supposed to let you update to it even though you are on 3.55 FW and im on FW 3.55.
