thats using the pl3 payload hex evilsperm made. if i go back to the v3 everyone edition, put in patch mode it works fine
I'm not 100% but I think those hex files were compiled with the old buggy code. KaKaRoTo updated the payload today and it fixed the freezing issues. Hex files are available on his blog (at the bottom of the first post).

eyepet freezes again in the usual spot. im installing them again now with the new payload using Moh's manager 1.17
fresh install of eyepet move. all data and saves removed, still freezes, same with f1 but only freezes every now and then so still exactly the same issues as with hermes v3
i'll stick with hermes since patch mode is guaranteed to work 100% of the time unlike this.

New Kakaroto's PL3 + PSgroove peek/poke
New Kakaroto's PL3 + PSgroove peek/poke –
Kakaroto mentioned this new PL3 on his twitter
You can get it from this link http://bit.ly/9pbP9v
Just noticed there's been a new update. I'll recompile TI-84 AND payload files for all versions. Please stop asking for that which doesn't exist, btw, there's no such thing as a port1_config_descriptor.bin in PL3, the closest thing to it you will find is default_payload_3_xx.bin once you compile it, but there is a difference -- you need to combine it with the 32-byte header, which you CAN rip right out of an existing port1_config_descriptor. I already created a header file for you, if you grabbed my previous upload of TI-84 files and compiled payloads. If you missed it, it's at:
http://psx-scene.com/forums/557937-post138.html (KaKaRoTo Releases his modified PSGroove fork!)
As far as I can tell the 3.15 version of that was working fine, couldn't test the others, but for now, use that. I'll recompile this newest version for you in a little bit.
P.S. For anyone getting compiling errors, anything symlinked is not included in the downloaded archive and must be downloaded separately. Fortunately, there are not too many of these, in the case of PL3 itself, that's just ps3toolchain. The upside, that doesn't get updated as much so once you have it, you don't have to grab it again, just copy it over to the new PL3.
I think you didn't specify your MCU , BOARD & F_CPU in the Makefile.psgroove file.... (it's kakaroto's original file untouched!)

You may need to change them first, depending on your board type ,mcu & frequency !!!
can anyone tell me how to update my pic18f2550
with new hex files?
