Sega still has plans of releasing Yakuza 3 in the US

The way this news bit came out was a bit funny. The PlayStation Blog posted on the release of Valkyria Chronicles 2 for the PSP, but the comments section got a little off topic. Lucky for us, Sega assistant community manager Aaron Webber made it a point to reply to a few posts, so we are all treated to this piece of info - Sega still has plans of releasing Yakuza 3 in the US.
Good news, eh papajag? Same goes for all you guys looking to play the game.
Here's the post from Aaron Webber:
UNCyrus – let me brighten your day first off by confirming something big:
Yakuza 3 is not cancelled – and the possibility for localizing it does, in fact, still exist.
The original news story that went around about Yakuza 3 being declined for the US was false, and localizing the game still remains a big point of discussion for many people here at SEGA, and especially those of us on SEGA’s community team.I know it’s far from an announcement, but I just felt you should know that the chance does still exist.
Thanks for supporting SEGA and quality games like Valkyria Chronicles – I’ll be around with more news on VC/VC2 soon!
I am For One Very excited ^_^

Oh I would definitely be excited if Yakuza 3 was released to US. I love that game.
I know there is many a petition and blog about this begging them literally to release it
Its not like it would be hard to convert to English.
They should think of the money it would make. Even the release of Yakuza 2, then boosted sales of Yakuza again.
