can i use this for going to waninkoko v2 with my broken bd drive ? i tried to update yesterday and it ends in a loop by 50%...

just put together a quick CECHC02 (got the motherboard only).. the bluray daughter board is missing so i used this excellent self file to upgrade from 2.76 to 3.41. my log file end bits herewith:

now i have a usb dongle I jailbreak as usual install blackbox ftp (installs fine) but now can't seem to run apps (it lauches but just get a black screen). Does homebrew application like blackbox ftp v1.2 etc run without a bluray drive in the system??

I also tried on it on a CECHC03 without a bluray drive. Previous I tired with a normal update from OFW 3.55 to kmeaw - but that didnt work (blackscreen trying to load any homebrew). So this time I tried with this lv2diag with the same result. Kmeaw CFW installed fine I guess, but I still got a blackscreen tried to launch anything - I can install homebrew.

Custom Apps, and Normal Apps will not load without the BR Logic Board. Programs like Netflix or even PSN will not start without it. Which is why we need a way to remarry the BR Drive as well as the network card.

But why photo gallery app works even without br board? Is there some special code, that don't require BD drive check? Can we done this to homebrew?
