Boy that would be the day comes up to a screen "want to copy this game please insert blank DVD-R" I bet that has a very very high price.

psx? .. now thats gonna be confusing

ps2 combined with xbox ideas, dvd burner, hdd and a bit of tivo in there... $600 at the very least

I totally agreee. $600 or more. This is an odd step for sony....burning dvd's and copying games to the hard drive??? I'm sure you'll still have to have the disc in the tray for the hard drive game to play. Sony's not just gonna give up on piracy. It's still a cool system though. Tivo, PS2, DVD burner. Not bad. AND, it looks pretty too. I've always wanted a chrome system.

I would rather they come out with a Ps2 with Network Adapter and harddrive while still being $179.99 like the XBox

why would they throw in a "free" hard drive and modem when they can sell them easily enough without them?

I wonder if this mean it plays burnt games, since it plays dvd-r and dvd-rw!!!????

ps this really sucks for me who just bought a ps2 about 3 months ago
