It has come to my attention in various polite and impolite manners, that the code for the auto led shutoff for the minimus seems to have stopped working for v4 and v4b.

Thanks to Santa Claus, I now have a minimus to test with. I managed to replicate the problem so for now, I have removed that file.

Funny thing is it works fine in his v3 payload. It's been an awfully busy week for me so i have not had the time to really sit down and play with this.

I have some time this weekend so i'll do my best to figure out what's wrong and see if i can get it working.

Thanks for the support everyone, but i have to say there are so many others that have helped me along the way to figure out how to get the led's to work etc... This site has a fantastic community and i want to make sure everyone who has helped me (even in the slightest), knows it is greatly appreciated by me and everyone else

UPDATE Oct 23 With the help of splinter182, I have been able to not only get the led shutdown issue resolved for the minimus and maximus, I have been able to implement the cool blinky sequence that KaKaRoTo uses in his payloads. It is much cooler as the led's blink like your hard drive so you can see the payload in action. The blue led will power off after 30 seconds.

I'll tinker with the other boards i have over the weekend and update any others i can get working

    Wow Thanks Djlo !

I just flash my minimus with your last Hex !

The blinking process is very cool ... and not having anymore the super " maniac " blue led, is a blessing !

Your work is so appreciated man !

    Thanks again !

I got the blinky led sequence working on the AVRKEY as well. The Blue LED is not powering off after 30 seconds, need to look into that.

It actually doesn't work for me in Hermes V3 + updateV2 version. I'm using udip's dongle with atmega32u2 chip.

I'll have to take a look at that, i was already kinda curious as to how the minimus' 3 leds were being controlled while the source code clearly only handles 2. Unfortunately it wont be for another 7-10 days until i'll have a minimus to tinker with XD

i have 2 questions for you tho:
does the red led turn on a the same time as the green led, and then the blue and red flash intermittently?
    or
does the green led turn on first, then the red, and then the blue and red flash intermittently?
I'm just assuming the leds are green, red, blue, correct me if i'm wrong as i haven't really seen one in action.

i was thinking it would be really cool to solder a blue light to my teensy and have the sequence so it lit red initially (off/not working), blue flashing for work in process, and green for complete.

i don't think that would be that difficult to implement.
