Hermes says "Goodbye" to EOL and PS3 Scene.

Yet again Hermes, a famous Spanish developer has say goodbye to the crazy PS3 'scene', but this time he has left behind a 'parting gift', the 'source code' to his own Hermes Backup Manager which has some unique 'features', and hopes that other or new developers will follow in his footsteps, and fill in the gaps that he has left behind in the crazy spining up and down PS3 'scene'!

What follows is a very bad google translation of his most recent edited 'Goodbye' post he left at EOL:

We here at PSX-SCENE thank Hermes for everything he has done in the PS3 'scene', and wish him all the best in his new adventures of life! -- Of course this is not the first time he 'dropped' out of the 'scene' action, maybe we see his ghost reappear yet again in the near future!

Most have shown their true colour (YELLOW) and ran for the hills.

I've never come across a console hacking scene as weak as PS3 which is a shame because the console unlocked has a lot of potential.

The ReBug team & graf are still showing strong but other than that it is a weak scene nowadays after the tremendous take off. Reminds me of the 360 scene, desolate. Kakarot, Hermes,geohot, and the rest you will be missed. Almost time to revive my jtag unfortunately.

By then they'll have lost much interest in the scene, and even if they manage to crawl back the title "hypocrite" will be there to welcome them first.

They won't be missed, at least by me. I got my psn workaround so I'm set. Still got my 360 ready to dust off any time.

I reconstructed the translation as best I could if anybody's confused by the OP.

Well everybody, the day has come and this is my message: I'm not just leaving the scene, but as a user altogether (along with EOL). As a final gesture, he published the source code needed to compile my latest project (HManager + PSL1GHT + + Tiny3D ps3soundlib updated) should anyone want to continue the work in my place (of which I have already done enough)
