HDLoader the real BS Story

Seems as if Sjeep and the fellows at maxconsole are making one last attempt to gain some website stats and keep up some sort of name for DMS, with an interview with hdloader creator and now DMS/toxic head developer Sjeep aka filterX.

Id also like to clarify some blatant lies told by mr filterx in his interview and also some interesting facts that were "accidentally" left out.

his remarks about pgen and libhdd. Sjeep was paid for both projects, 6 thousand US for violating his pgen license and selling it to datel. libhdd was also a paid for project. I did do the artwork for both the format tools for free. Ironically, those are the only two tools that are capable of being used on any ps2 regardless of mod. Coincidence? No.

Stolen Graphics. Regardless of wether i looked at sonys version for inspiration i still made those on my own. Did he have any right to use any of that stuff without my permission? No. Anyone that has ever contributed to a project, regardless of how small their contribution is would understand this. I still remember his response to when i asked him if some of my work was involved in HDL.

The others mentioned all played a part indeed. we all worked on various things mostly for fun NOT FOR MONEY. We were like tight group back then. we were great friends at the time and unfortunately, also shared all code and secrets which would later be used to backstab us when the money was right.

He also speaks some about the UI. well lets ask sjeep one more time.

Sjeep. where is libGUI? Where are the sources that were supposed to be placed in the ps2dev cvs? In HDL? Some of it is.

The code that was shared was never intended to be used in commercial work. Sjeep somehow makes it seem as if we all knew what was going on. This is not the case. Secretly him and RCE/Vector/Digital were adding to the codebase in order to sell this to brian and max. The actions of two lamers broke up a group that has been actively working on and off for almost 8 years now. All for the love of money.

Did he ever try to contact me or try to compensate me after i found out he made hdl?
no, this is another lie. Regardless, i never would have allowed it. I have freely made art and design for all sorts of projects. I am still actively making images and interface designs for all of 7not6's recent emulator releases and some other works that are coming soon.

who was involved in the project.
Brian/asia, former ICE Team member and contributor to the cosmic cheat project RCE/Vector/Digital. Im sure we will see what others helped RCE make in toxic very soon. Thats just the tip of the iceburg with him.

Max from d1vineo also funded hdl, who coincidentally sent his lawyers after me. thinking i cracked hdloader. As soon as he learned the real story and my intentions to expose their entire group. he backed off. Another strange twist of irony. This also led to the destruction of consolenewz.net. LOD was on the verge of inking a deal with max and another sponsor that would have made him rich. So me, xiaNaix and the rest of the boys took back what did not belong to money.

PS2-scene was born out of the ashes of a once great newz site turned sour by money.

The cracking and who was involved?
Some dev guys sure did it. It was done in front of sjeeps face on irc. No copyrights for those who dont respect copyrights. It wasnt put their for their health. Its there for a reason.

Now here are some questions for the interview team and sjeep

Why no mention of the direct link between maxconsole and DMS?
I have logs from brian stating that banner is paid directly from him. Another strange twist there?

Why no questions regarding the split of the old DMS team and the sudden appearance of filterX?
Ah wait, that same nick was used on Z one day....to sell him a fake copy of mame!

who is team tox1c and why are they the only ones capable of flashing the DMS4?

Why no questions regarding the link between PS2moanz and DMS?
Sjeep and Z, once former enemies now business partners. Ah i remember as if it was just yesturday. Z leaking PSMS days before its official release date.....

Sjeep makes it seem as if i and the rest of the group did this in order to forcefully make money from him, the project or just out of some sort of jealous spite. If i would have wanted money then why would i bother trying to extort NZ pennies from you sjeep? i would have just plastered this site with banners like ownz or maxconsole!

As i said before, this is just the tip of the iceburg. The ps2 scene is a sick place. I could even tell you stories of modchip theives who broke into a developers house, pinned him down and shoved a needle into him and told him if he didnt give them the code that they would inject him with some sort of disease. sick stuff. Sjeep and the others used to be decent guys. This is certainly the sick direction these guys are heading towards.

In the coming days i may be posting some interesting things to expose every member of this sick team one by one. Picking them apart piece by piece until all of their sick secrets are out. Lets face it fellas, you shoved your foot up your mouths this time.

yeah, i notice that datel is using pgen as one of their software feature of their ar max evo product, eventhough we know its sjeep work..(thats surprising selling ur apps

i would also like to know the history of all this cause i came into the scene just a year ago and there seems to be a fued between sites and so forth and i have no idea why. this info is very interesting indeed and that last story about the people breaking in, is just disgusting.
