On checking today, the Official HDLoader web site http://www.hdloader.com has been taken down with a notice on the front page:

Seems like things have taken a turn for the worse for the DMS Team/Divineo and their fledgling product. Hope they saved some of the "loads of money" they claim they made.

Thanks to forum member bungiefan for the heads up.

nice, its about damn time people stopped paying for stuff like this that was supposed to be homebrew anyways. they probably wouldnt have been targets (along with other sites that decided to sell this) if it was underground, no joe schmoe user could easily launch the programs for to be enough threat to $ony

You got that "site" from the cache of your webbrowser. Just hit "shift-reload", and you'll see the new "announcement".

hopefully this will mean $ony won't have to bother making games incompatible with HDloader, since they shut it down and all.

So many games are already incompatible with it as it is, they already know how to make games incompatible!

I am new to all this hdloader and was wanting to buy a DMS3 Plus.

Q1. Is DMS taking the fall with HDloader because they made HDloader
or are they taking the fall for their modchip as Messiah did?

Q2. Does this mean i will never see a DMS3 Plus modchip?

    Thankyou

1.) DMS "might" take a fall as well...no one is sure yet.

2.) DMS Plus may still ship to people, although I haven't heard of anyone receiving them yet.

Best to go with an older DMS or any other chip.

Well its true, hdloader should have been just homebrew in the first place, and well it doesnt surprise me the results of it. Now we have HDAdvance, wonder how this is going to turn out as well.
