Good Idea, I would even volunteer to moderate the section and/or contirbute tutorials or whatever.

I agree that this is a bad idea. In all honesty if you went in and cleared every single thread in the HDD forum that was about HDL/HDA and game compatibility ... you wouldn't really have much of a HDD forum anymore. Then the n00bs will think if their stuff doesn't get answered in the HDL forum, that its ok to go over to the HDD forum and ask the same crap and this is bound to happen (which will make more work for mods to move posts into the correct forums and such) ... and its already obvious they don't read the rules now as it is ... another forum section will most likely only add to this problem and confusion of the poor n00bs![]()
it would be nice but i think that <G> touched on this before ( might not have been <G>) Having a noob section leads to noobe questions they will say hey im a hdd noobie so sence i dont know anything i will just post here and get help instead of finding the propper thread to post in. But nevertheless you got my vote
Let me make it clear....it's gonna be a section, not a forum....most likely similar to the reviews area.
the thing is...there isn't a lot of activities coming out for HDL anymore so people will be just repeating the same thing all over again...They can always find it somewhere else...

I'm a n00b! Though an excellent programmer willing to learn this stuff. If you guys add this step by step tutorials, I can get up to speed in no-time because i'm not willing to spend days and days re-inventing the weel.
Good luck.
I agree screw the n00bs all the info is already in the forums. I had to search through hours and hours of threads they can too.
