HDAdvance Update

With all the buzz surrounding the demise of HDLoader and the arrival of HDAdvance in it's place, we would like to point out that other sites are erroneously reporting that HDAdvance can install imports and backups. This is untrue. As it is nothing more than a hex edited version of HDLoader, HDAdvance can install imports and backups ONLY with use of a mod or swap device such as the flip-top lids or slide card.

Seems other sites are more interested in selling HDAdvance through their affiliates than reporting the truth...

Also, anyone discussing the rumors, speculation, and overall garbage that other (jealous) sites are posting about HD Advance will be IP BANNED from our sites instantly... so please keep things discussed here HERE, and vice-versa until WE review it for ourselves.

Let's all pretend to be suprised when their "review" reports that the HDAdvance offers NOTHING new other than the increased TOC for users of swap-based mods and flip-top lids which, coincidentally, are manufactured and distributed by affiliates of the same sites.

Those looking for "facts" on this matter need look no further than the official HDAdvance site...

this makes no sense why are they advertising that it has a large TOC and can rip all games, HDloader to my knowledge cannot play 80min rips even if you install them through HDL_dump and WinHIIP, ive tried both Beatmania IIDX 7th style cd1 and DDR Extreme-J

so with a larger TOC on the DVD boot side, you don't have to do a insert an original dvd game then swap out (with slidecard tool/fliptop) you can just use the dvd boot disc as the dvd game media.

If you already have an HDLOADER w/ slidecard tool and an original dvd game media you can accomplish the same thing... duh!

total number of steps saved: only 2
- hitting eject and inserting original dvd game media

results: SAME!

yes, no improvements, well ... instead of PLAY its RUN and instead of rename its RELABEL. Other than that no improvements...

if those guys were smart they would just put in an actual BOOT option, that way you don't need the swap magic stuff to boot the backups/imports etc... oh forgot, both are from the same manufacturer now... and real coders would be needed.

For that other information site, pushed products for the same manufacturer. hmm, no wonder they are banning people from telling the truth about it, i mean talking aboutit, i mean... HDADVANCE, its more like HDNODIFFERENCE!

they will try and come up with anything just to make some money, my setup can already install backups and imports, its called hdldumb and winhiip lol. i got like 4+ japanese games on there right now

yeah that does pose a problem... ps2ownz does have a nack for not having any real coders, which is why the only people who will buy this disc are noobs.
