Happy Easter to everyone on the staff, to all the PSX-Scene members! But horrible easter to the old man holding up the "Trade in your PlayStation for a PrayStation" because that line is sooo cheesy! There is a School in Seattle, Washington that even re-named the "Easter Eggs" to "Spring Spheres" to avoid the religious tie-in! Hey, if you don't like the holiday, don't celebrate it at all...don't change the name just to make YOU feel better...LOL...That goes for everyone that gets "offended" by "Merry Christmas" and "Christmas Tree" and have caused the changes to "Happy Holidays" and "Holiday Trees"...You're willing to have the tree and celebrate the day, but you won't call it Christmas or a Christmas Tree...(you just do it for the gifts right? LOL)...okay done with my off-topic rant! Again Happy Easter to the staff and it's members..as well as all the wonderful Devs out there even the ones that people have some hate toward b/c they dind't get what they want! Matheiulh, GeoHot, Waninkoko have all been great despite what people think! (along with all the other devs)

Yeah I know what you talking about, in Canada they had to move school break time off up early in the calander year away from Easter so it didn't fall during the same period.

And Canada during Xmas time, you can't play Xmas music or ring your little bells asking for money as you might upset the non-xmas people shopping!

It's pretty much like that in the states now too. Everyone is either uber PC or take offense to every little thing under the sun. I actually almost got fired for saying "Merry Christmas" on Christmas Eve before. I'm agnostic but I was still trying to share some holiday cheer and they tried to can my ass for it. LoL

Closing a store is a win? Well, maybe for some. What about the fact that the average consumer still has no idea about Sony's draconian actions? I think that would have been a much better win. Let me break it down further for you: Sony closes store for 1 day, loses 24hrs worth of profits. Protest happens in front of Sony stores worldwide, people are now informed and possibly never buy a Sony product again. That's the gift that keeps on giving.

Maybe you should review how business works.

Edit: Oh, and as DreAc83 said, don't like the site, you're more then welcome to frequent ps3news, ps3-hacks, etc etc instead.

Who's still suing hackers and which consumers are going to think twice about buying a Sony product? Great win there. What has Anon accomplished? Ooooo, ya know Sony is scared about a protest. What did you accomplish? Nothing. The protests that never were came and went, stores were closed, and now they're open again and selling just as much as it always was. You didn't open anyone's eyes, nothing has changed. Call it what you want, but I think it amounted to jack shit.

It's not like Anon taking on Scientology and bringing to light all the injustices that happen in their church. There is where Anon did some good. People know more about the secret religion then they ever did before. Scientology is constantly in the news and their practices are constantly being scrutinized. Where did any of this happen with Anon's Sony protests? That's right, only the hackers and the CFW users that already exist know anything about their efforts. Great win there.

do you even have a tv ... ? been on several big news stations all around the globe that anon is taking action against sony and as a stated in a previous post research anon then talk as far as i know anon doesnt give 2 shits about cfw users nor hackers the disturbing part was the ip's beeing given out and otherOS (because that was taken away illegally) .
and im not up to date with the otheros case but if im not mistaken theres still 1 or multiple cases running against sony coz of that.

i never said i am speaking for anon im just pointing out the obvious and anonymous is bigger than anyone can imagine but you seriously need a big group of ppl to harm the psn servers right now .... if im not mistaken prolexic can handle 150gigabit/s so you need a serious amount of resources to pull that off so why did nobody hear of any group gathering resources to pull this off ... im on the anonops irc network myself right now it doesnt mean by supporting their cause that im planning some evil plot against anyone many people just sit there and talk crap to other people but its an irc network you have channels like #opsony and #operationpayback but you also have places like #lounge and #lobby
what im saying is u dont just say ok me and my friends are going to attack psn and take it down if anyone big enough was attacking psn right now you would have been able to prove it was anon attacking but all you see is rumours and assume they are true
