will this allow nonbackward compatible ps3 be able to play ps2 games

and will the 3.50 decrypt lead to a 3.50 jailbreak(i ask that because if X3Mas can jailbreak 3.50, so can graf_chokolo)

Down the line it could lead to ps2 on nonbackwards units. That isn't close yet though.

Decrypting 3.50 files could lead to finding more exploits, that would lead to a 3.50 jailbreak. I think graf_chokolo is talking about decrypting 3.50 game files (EBOOT.BIN) not sure though.

sorry to bother but when he was originally looking for the masterkey he said he wasn't looking for a downgrade methof, whos to say he is looking for an exploit here
