While this may allow PSN game copies, I'm curious as to how "system activation" can be handled.
When you buy something from the PSN, before the download even begins it says that it "activates" it on your system. So even if you can get the game to think it's been "activated," couldn't that be cross-checked by Sony to a list of your purchased, activated games?
Would this work with 3.55 CFW?
EDIT: The method or file once released I mean.
YES BABY! Not only would this allow dlc from PSN to be played, but also blackops ONLINE as the only reason why we can't go online with it now is because the update eboot is in NPDRM format, but this changes that![]()
Does this mean anything for DLC?
synce,
Sure looks that way but I think they would catch you because your recently downloaded list wont have that DLC on it, unless you plan to play offline because then you are safe from ban.
not sure if they could catch ya or not... I think, keyword think so correct me if I'm wrong, it would sorta be the same as if someone else downloaded a DLC on your PS3 from another screen name... so in that case it's still not in your purchases, but your using it...
at least I hope it's this way...
**** YES
Finally I'll be playing Flower, now the race begins, which happens faster, backup managers with online, allowing me to buy it, or someone makes it work on 3.41.
