+2...the retarded downright stupidness of people here is so bad it's almost worrying.
Checkout xPretoriansx post....thinking you can "decrypt" an exe into standard programming language....hehehe this guys got a fair few posts to his name, dread to think the shambles of a nonsense he's been spouting elswhere.
It's like he and others feel the need to comment on anything they interpret as important to "the scene"...doesn't matter if they don't even know what their commenting on.
Personally I'd be insulted with such cretins making comments...and they doing it to show support!!!?
Christ it's like a bunch of cheerleaders have just turned up.
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
.Self decryption hey...The PS1 and PS2 emulators are packaged as .selfs are they not? Does this mean what I think it means? (Yes I know about the PS1 emulator released today (props to the devs, a great surprise to wake up to!), but with the official ones emulation would be perfect).
I think you are wrong.... only 20% of the people here on this board really care about the workings of the PS3, and tear apart the PS3 and learn from it. Others are just leechers and filling up their 1 Terra-byte drive's with all the games they can get. And the only bonus in their eyes is PSN access, so they can online with their pirated games on PSN.
The real exciting is that graf_chockolo is tearing this Sony machine apart, and that there are homebrew developers doing awesome things like creating emulators for NES, PS1, and Dreamcast and not a new backup manager that is only intended for piracy.
just my two cents...
Does it matter? How many of those 1 terabyte drive fillers would have bought any, let alone all of the games they downloaded, if they didn't have a chance to hack their machines?
Why are you (and others who make similar posts) moaning anyway? You're on a hacking site and you're moaning about piracy. It's an inevitably of a hacked console, and if you're browsing one of these sites and are a console hacking enthusiast you shouldn't really need to get the moral book out on a well known issue. Maybe in another thread, but it's kind of a downer for those of us who are pleased at this news.
Piracy can actually help advertise games. In my case I've become a fan of quite a few series' because I could download the games for free. That means a pretty good chance I'll buy future installments of the franchises in question at launch.
