They should be spending the money on making the ps3 better than the other makers and getting some more exclusive ps3 games and dlc, i mean when is the last time you seen a goood ps3 exclusive game and dlc? the answer you havent for a while because microsoft has most of them and my guess by the money they are throwing away you wont for a while i really hope they realize this before they lose all CREDIBILITY and RESPECT which they dont have much left

Sony does not need norwegian law to take down the domain. They could take it down through WIPO and ICANN, since these organizations respond to the US and international copyright law.

I’m from Norway, and I can say with a fair amount of certainty that Sony is not going to be able to do anything within the Norwegian law. Our copyright law is so contradictive to itself that any lawyer would simply advice Sony to give up =)

I don't blame them for buckling yesterday, they are a small site who really don't need the hassle of Sony going after them however I believe once they seen the outcry they have had to do this to save face. Well done to them anyway have they put the content back up while they await a reply.

Yes, people have to put themselves in their shoes.. you're running a non-profit site and a multibillion dollar corporation threatens you with legal action.. what would you do?

As we reported previously, Gitorious received a DMCA takedown notice from Sony and removed several PS3 dev gits as a result.

I definitely don't get this, when did you report that? I posted that news in the member section, and you just ignored it
