I think sony is going to lose this one the judge will give hackers credit for giving back to us what was illegally removed from us by sony. they can say all they want and how we had a choice.
"pay attention now" regardless if they gave us the option to say (I accept or not accept) because the ps3 will not be fully functional without the compliance of the new TSO and OFW update.
PSN belongs to them ok we don't care, some of us can live without it, but the part of the update that prevents you from playing future games is illegal. it is a terrible way to treat your customers. it is like sony thinks we are all kids and only want to play by their rules and they can make them change them as time goes by. NO SIR! we don't playthat, and that is why sony will lose this one. piracy yea it is bad for game sales too ******g bad, when you piss people off you get **** in return. do you see gun makers getting sued cus son got clapped on my corner a few years ago?

I am never buying anything sony again and when I get the chance to inform anyone bout how ****** up they are to us I jump all over it. every time I share the info we all gather here with people in the real world, they are like "wao I never knew that, that is messed up" so sony, here is something to think bout. 7 out of ten people, random people think you are wrong for doing things the way you do. What will happen when I take all this stuff to the news and ask them for help cus we are helpless little customers being stomped by a giant company? This case is going to be your most embarrassing lost ever you will never be the same again sony never.

Well, Sony will probably lose this case due to the fact that they removed Other OS kinda illegaly. This case vs geohot is related to the other case where Sony is being sued for having removed Other OS for a different reason than what they claimed back then. If they can prove that Sony removed Other OS illegaly for financial issue. The case vs geohot will dissolve cause its all related. The PS3 woulda never got hacked if the Other OS option was never removed in the first place. Actually, that was the best move Sony made to prevent piracy in the beginning.

Obviously, Sony will still try to make this the longer they can to win some time tho... Thats how they made http://www.lik-sang.com/ to go bankrupt.

mmmm the only problem i have with sony is that before i had custom firmware i used my credit card info on there psn and because i changed to custom firmware i cannot delete my credit card info from there greedy hands im sure glad its a debit credit card so that they can only use whats on it if they where to actually steal the info and go shoping online with my info

some of you may think wow big deal change to original firmware and go on psn then delete it well then you have to change to 3.60 to get rid of that info and i like emulators and the ability to back up my games so if i do one i loose the other then some would say go online with a pc and delete it well have tried and cant find where i delete the info i have them

this all seems like sony is a scaming company that and then look what they do to people you go against them then they wana spend some prison time with ya

as with the updating thing well i own a 360 and a psp and on both of them you always had to update the firmware to play new games so with me thats no big deal

If geohot didn't claim that he found a loophole in OtherOS to hack the PS3, Sony wouldve never removed OtherOS.

The OtherOS functions was there, for 4 years, then suddenly it got removed, right after Geohot claimed he found the glitch. No, Sony didn't remove it "cost purposes" lol, if the function was there for 4 years, they wouldve removed it long time ago if it cost that much.

Anyways, Sony won the first 2 or 3 battles against Geohot, they got his hard drives, ps3s and the paypal account of Geohot.

Sony is going all full force against this nerd, and if Sony wins, it will be a major victory for the gaming industry, Nintendo, Microsoft and Apple are watching closely.
