Geohot has released the long-awaited 3.55 jailbreak. This works for homebrew only.

make_self_npdrm makes valid NPDRM selfs from elfs
it does not contain any info on decrypting or removing NPDRM
NPDRM is required for interoperability of our homebrew applications
package_finalize turns your debug packages into psuedoretail packages
psuedoretail packages install on a geohot jailbroken PS3

Since this thread will blow up, I'll just leave this here on the first page.

1) You have to be on 3.55 official already.
2) This will not allow you to play backups. Don't ask.
3) Presumably geo will be releasing his npdrm_selfsigner soon. Once he does that, it will be possible to resign all our homebrew. snes9x/fceu/etc.

tried it on my 3.55 slim and it said "corrupted data" so i couldn´t update with this
