I won't even donate 1 Euro because I really think that it is Geohots own fault he got in that situation.

He really is something like the Julian Assange of hackers who really cares more for being in the press than hacking.
You don't believe me? Well, there are two examples, first his iPhone bootrom hack limera1n. He released that hack when the release of another hack from Dev-Team called SHAtter was almost ready for release without telling anyone before. Dev-Team tried to preserve their hack after that for later but it got leaked to Apple by now so this one is lost forever.

For the recent PS3 hacks, the real work was done by Team fail0verflow, they found out about the error Sony made with the public key encryption and made it public end of December.
It was trivial after that getting the key and Geohot was careless (and in my opinion stupid enough) to put it on his website and making fun of Sony.

I also don't like Sonys behavior and would prefer them losing but I also wouldn't mind seeing Geohot getting his ass kicked, at least I won't support him with my money for his stupidness, he brought himself in that situation and should try to get out himself.

@Das_Wort, if u don't want to donate then we don't care. But I am sure I can speak for many when I say that we don't want to hear about ur problems we want to hear solutions. I am sure GeoHot will do fine without ur help anyways.

I find it amazing that pirates will spend money to fight against Sony, but they will go and download games off the net for free.

Do everyone a favor, support Sony and buy games. Support Developers and buy games. Support honest working people from all over the world and buy games. Support the gaming industry and buy games.

Geo Hotz is a retard if he thinks that Sony is the big bad corporation. Now people can hack PSN and take credit card information.

GEOHOT was not about piracy.. For God sake, he made the PS3 homebrew possible, and pirate free.. Obviously other devs took it from there and brought where it is today..
For god sake, LINUX was taken from under our noses by SONY wrongfully, and now these fine devs have brought it back.. :o

Its easy to see SONY at its corporate perspective = $$$$$ and control

You dont even know that you cannot play copied games, (aka pirated on geohots firmware how many times do you have to be told) try it yourself you retard.

Also the only way you can have your credit card info stollen is if you install dodgy custom firmware if you download it from megaupload or some torrent site a random link not from a more trusted source like this site.

And if you know what an antivirus is unlikely but anyway if you downloaded a dodgy custom firmware with a fake certificate file then you will most likely have the virus detected by your anti virus and the virus deleted most detect spyware now to.

You always hate geohot and everyone who uses homebrew which to you is downright piracy only programs that allow such are backup managers.

And even if you get a backup manager going on geohots firmware you still cannot play any games.

You can only run homebrew aka (A program or game made by someone
mainly an emulator which for whatever its for has most likely been hacked way back).

If you dare call me a pirate then i shall take a picture of all the legit games i have in my room why do i use back up managers well ild rather back up my own games OWN and scratch a Hard Drive Disk instead of a blue ray disc you can also loose your Brought games lend them to a friend and never get them back such things like that.
