This is great advancement but...

We need also a JB 3.55 dongle method !
We should have at least the option not to have the hack on our console
without flashing firmware and be able to switch whenever we want !

Because i believe a lot of people bought dongles, so we need to make use of it
and what about service mode you can't do that without a dongle right ?

Only an idiot would still use the cubersome power and eject of the jailbreak once this is released. It's not like there is that big of a risk (lvl2 is not being touched).

Also if your just joshing because you want to continue playing backups, then you may have seen me wax lyrical about the ability to convert BDVD Eboots to HDD Eboots and launch our games that way.

Or you can have it for free. If these CFW's going to be half as good as I expect they will, the dongle is just another thing going to my shelf-of-things-i-dont-need-anymore, irritating my GF.

Its stressfull to allways have to switch off, unplug power, plug dongle, plug power and hit pwr+eject.
What do you need dongle-servicemode for, if they just could implent a "enter service-mode"-button on the XMB?

CORRECT.
The PSP's added service mode with old CFWs was simply able to run by holding in the R button while turning the handheld on. Simple.
These f**king dongles need done away with!

unknown as of yet mate. but it is a signed app geohot is running.. so the firmware has not been touched... so i would say yes, PSN still works.

Wow take it easy ! who said i still want to use power + eject shit...
I still want to be able to JB with a dongle or at least make good use
of it in any other way possible...

But i still think there should be two ways to JB...
1. Dongle 2. CFW
Just a thought.

Also in another note,
Im sure Sony would block PSN on modified firmwares someday...whenever the fw comes up.
(by some network checks with MD5 or whatever, can we fake MD5 or some ?)
So having a dongle on another hand that doesn't modify the FW is till not bad if updated to every FW coming up
