ok, I'm not saying piracy is right but take a step back and consider this. I don't know of any Actor who has gone broke and not able to put a meal on the table for his family, actually far far from it, I mean Dustin Hoffman was paid $7million for 5 days work for Little Fockers. I don't see any studios (movie/music/Games) in the brink of bankruptcy but instead reporting record revenues year after year, e.g. Avatar made over $2 Billion. I don't see any singers who can't afford to put solid gold bling around their neck. What leads to Piracy is the ridiculous cost "they" want people to pay for most of their content that not worth the CD/DVD/Blu-ray they are sold on. Only very few titles are ever worth the prices they charge. So Do I feel sorry for the Studios, Actors/singers because of Piracy? NO, Do I think Piracy is right? NO.

Some of the posts in this thread are useless. However, some of you guys are just too funny especially the ones with photos and videos. I have laughed my butt off with some of them. :lol:

BTW, I'm staying out of this piracy debate because there's too many personal jabs going on here. There's no need for personal attacks guys! It's okay to have an opinion but too many of you are attacking posters with outrageous comments. ;)

I support the developers that make the games I like by buying their creations.

On another note, used games are just as bad as pirating games as the developer looses sales on both.

I like used games since they save me money so I can buy more games. Plus I can try the game out and return it if I don't like it.

Companies like GameStop rely on used sales to make their profit.

Although this was not directed towards me, I have to say my point of view that this guy is a ****ing retard. So with your awesome mind, you actually believe it is "easier" to get up, grab your game case, open it and removing the disk from its case without dropping it, scratching etc, then placing it within your PS3 whilst simultaneously decreasing your lasers life cycle?

OR...from the comfort of your couch:
1. Press PS button.
2. Select Backup Manager
3. Select game.
4. Play and enjoy.

Want to play just more than one freaking game within your gaming session? Simply repeat steps 2-4.

I do this and with my own collection that I have ripped although yes like anyone with any integrity and honesty, I have pirated many things in my life from films, games and music. So, I'm basically a normal 23 year old.
