Nevermind....my problem was that I forgot to downgrade to 2.30 before attempting the re-marrying

BAM. My £30 60gb PS3 lives finally. Only taken since October but **** yeah.
Just spent all afternoon getting 3.55 CFW up and running and fixing blu-ray, but we are in business people.
The last 2 (from memory) versions of fat also were sata. I have one here with no damn drive to match it for testing.

Just tried the remarry thingamajig with my PS3 that I cant play bluray movies on and it doesnt work. Downgraded to 2.30, ran the program to remarry, tried playing a bluray-movie while still in service mode and got the prohited error message still.
thanks to all involved, this worked flawlessly for my doorstop ... the only downside is i now have nothing to hold the door open...
Buy a 360

Easy enough to test. I'll look at it this afternoon
